A private terrace provides pool views. The room contains three large double beds and sleeps six guests. A private bathroom includes a walk‑in shower. Air conditioning is provided for climate control.
We were thrilled to stay here; it felt like home. The staff cared for us wonderfully, and it was a treat to return to the pool after each outing. It made a perfect base for visits to elephant gathering, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Dambulla, etc. The breakfast was huge, and dinners were good too. Juices were made from garden fruits. The location was very peaceful yet only 2 minutes from the town center. A resident elephant, actually belonging to a neighbour and adopted from an orphanage, spends the whole day at the lake and passes through the hotel on its way back to its pen.

It was a great place to stay and unwind. The hotel was very relaxing. The team was very kind, the food was delicious, and breakfast was great. We had a wonderful stay!
The staff was excellent, and the manager at the facility was kind and caring. The chef cooked an amazing dinner and breakfast even when it was late at night. Overall, we felt welcomed and had a relaxed stay.
The staff, especially Chef Mahesh and General Manager Madame Selvi, were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. They seemed to anticipate every wish. I extended my stay by a week. Contrary to another comment, there are no broken tiles at the pool, and breakfast runs from 6.00 to 10.00. You just need to book in advance if you want to eat very early or very late. The garden is well maintained, with a few hammocks between the trees for chilling. Every day the garden is watered, the pool cleaned, and the paths swept. The forest character and light wind constantly scatter leaves from the trees. At the pool there are shaded spots under the trees, very pleasant. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always in good spirits, greeting and smiling at me. I have been traveling alone through Sri Lanka for six weeks, and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed in since then. There is nothing negative!
