I never imagined a resort like Al Hiwara in the Gulf would exist—isolated on a remote island away from the noise. My previous trip without the boat was already pleasant and hassle‑free. The resort’s views and the sea are breathtakingly beautiful and enchanting. The staff care for the property and its facilities with intense attention. Finally, the restaurant is unique; it’s astonishing to find such quality and service at a resort. Their food is incredibly delicious, so much so that I’d return just for the dining. I’ll definitely repeat the experience. The resort appears newly renovated, and the refurbishment was successful; the operating company knows how to run a five‑star resort of this size, offering visitors a true sense of isolation. The only suggestion would be to add more green cover and plants throughout the resort.

“Exceptionnel”

We had a fantastic stay at Hawar Resort by Mantis, and we highly recommend it. The staff were respectful, friendly, and competent, and we really appreciated their warm welcome and constant availability. Our stilt‑room was immaculate, cozy, and offered a stunning view. The activities were well planned and easily accessible, and a special shout‑out to Michael and his team for the jet‑ski session, which was a highlight of our trip. Overall, every service was thoughtful and aimed at guest comfort. The food was a bit pricey, but the quality was excellent and we enjoyed the meals. A few small improvements could be made: we felt there was a lack of information upon arrival about in‑room services (like the “service” button) and the golf carts that were available; it would help to clearly inform guests that outside food is not allowed and to specify prices for certain services, especially restaurant water. An interactive island map showing restaurants, activities, and services would also be handy for orientation right after arrival. These are minor points, as our stay was otherwise perfect. We leave with wonderful memories and thank the entire team for a great experience!

“Overall, we had a very nice stay. However, if possible, I would recommend requesting a villa closer to the main building”

The overwater villa was gorgeous and secluded, the staff were pleasant, and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately, we were assigned one of the farthest villas from the main building, which made walking or cycling inconvenient. Consequently, we had no choice but to rely on the club car service, which turned out to be the worst part of our stay. On several occasions we called for a club car and had to wait up to 30 minutes because they seemed to be waiting for another villa to request one so that we could share the ride. This happened multiple times and was extremely frustrating, especially since it almost caused us to miss breakfast twice. Breakfast closes at 11:00 AM, so if you’re staying in one of the farther villas, I would recommend requesting a club car as early as 9:30 AM to avoid the risk of missing it.

“Perfect , quiet , and relaxed”

The location is quiet. The food was too expensive.

The room had a nice view. I saw a mouse in the hotel restaurant, which made me skip breakfast even though I paid for two people, and the construction work during my stay was very disruptive.
