We walked to Aglona Basilica, which was our main reason for visiting. The place is nice and quiet with an enclosed parking area. The host was communicative and gave us a tour. The family room was compact, minimal, and cozy for four people. The room also has a small kitchen with an electric stove and refrigerator for cooking.

The room was quiet. We couldn’t connect the TV, the microwave didn’t work, the grill was outside the bedroom and had to be found ourselves. We also couldn’t connect to WIFI.

The bed was comfortable. The air circulation in the room was lacking.

The location was great for a quick stay, but we needed a convenient place to wash and stay overnight. Maybe we were wrong, but with a 1.5‑year‑old child we didn’t feel the cleanliness was adequate. The background had dampness and other aromas. The floor made us reluctant to walk barefoot. For €30 we expected many more cozy apartments than this one for €70.

The apartment was very nice, with everything needed to be comfortable and enjoy a pleasant stay. It’s also very close to the basilica and there’s a mini‑market next door.
