The place was clean, the staff were organized, and it was refreshing. The aircon was not working.

The interior and the exterior was nice and the security guard were friendly and welcoming and the water features are breathtaking. We did not appreciate that the receptionist on the day of check in was not professional and did not pay attention to us and we waited long to get assistance as when we got there, a call disturbed us and took his attention away from us we waited for assistance long enough. There was a leakage in the bathroom 🚽. And it was never sorted. Also they had loud music till late cause they also host however at least they could have thought about other people who are there to rest. On the day of check out there was an additional charge of R450 cause the pillows got stained of hair dye and that they didn’t soak it some of the pillows were even dry when they showed us. They first said 4 pillows (which would be R600) and when we checked it was 3 pillows that got stained(which was R450). That’s an expense that we did not plan and that they could at-least said R150 but to charge per pillow and that they were rude about it and the manager are not on the premises to at-least communicate with us to deal with such thing and the receptionist couldn’t give up any opportunity to ask questions but was so ready to say pay for the stains. I know there policies but this was so off, a stain??? …. The receptionist Did even say that’s how we/they make money so in my case it means they would have got something else for us to pay . we did not appreciate that and I wish there are so ways such can be resolved
