Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel Classic Nanjing Road

“Safe and comfortable place to rest in transit but quite a way out from the airport.”

I have been learning Mandarin for a year which came in handy as most staff didn't speak English. Tea and coffee in room but if you want milk you have to buy it from a kiosk in the foyer. The room was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The hotel took about 40 minutes to reach by taxi from Pudong Airport and the location wasn't anything spectacular. The high point was the ample and diverse breakfast and service which was 5 star. Location we should have done a bit more research

“Great location. Good value”

The hotel sits in a central spot with metro stations nearby and plenty of restaurants; the room was basic, clean, tidy, with water provided, a comfortable bed, and a superb shower; initially it felt a bit off‑putting and not welcoming, but it was fine and the staff were very helpful, and I loved the automated delivery machine.

“Amazing location, would stay again next time!”

The location is a two‑minute walk to East Nanjing Road and a metro station on line 2, and the hotel has a classic modern boutique vibe, though the reception staff could be a bit more welcoming.
