We arrived much earlier than we had estimated and indicated. Still, we could immediately check into a room of the booked category. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the administrative stuff ran completely smoothly. The furniture isn’t exactly brand‑new, but that was already evident from the comments before our booking. So we were quite satisfied with what we received. A plus was the size of the room and, of course, the ability to go straight from the parked car into the room. We had plenty of luggage, so both aspects were important and helpful. The breakfast was also good and plentiful. Will we ever feel the urge to go back to Orillia? Unlikely. But if we do, we could imagine staying here again.

The breakfast was simple and nice, and there was nothing negative.

I was told I could do early check‑in, drove two hours for a wedding, arrived and was told no that I was unable to check in early. I was then told I could not pay with my debit/credit, of which I was not informed. I left my credit card at home, said I would call to get the number and process the transaction, in which I was also told no. I also offered to pay, again told no. I was told "next time you need to book the day before then" very rudely I may add. In this economy, expecting someone to pay hundreds of dollars for a room in which they are not staying in is absurd. The blonde woman at the desk was extremely rude, derogatory, and made me feel as if I was to blame for the error, even though I showed her the confirmation of my early check‑in being approved. I did not end up staying there, and had to find another hotel for that evening as I was in a wedding and again, two hours from home. Extremely disappointed and upset with this experience.
