“Old traditionnel house right next to the river, giving a great view. There is an inside bath and also an outside one whi”
The outdoor onsen is amazing, and the owner is really nice and speaks great English.
“You'd need a good sense of humour and a very optimistic mind to stay here”
The onsen was amazing, right next to a river, and the place was very old but had character and a story; the traditional Japanese style was something I loved. Because it was so old, the hallways had a few Japanese stink bugs (I googled what they were) crawling around; they weren't in the room, but it felt a bit freaky at first. Ear plugs are a must at night because the river can be quite loud, and trucks drive by frequently, adding a bit of noise.
The hot springs were great, but the bed bugs were a problem.
The owner was very nice and the outdoor hot spring was nice, but there were a lot of bugs all over the place.
“It was a nice beautiful Japanese stay with the modern day essentials”
It was spacious, comfortable, the onsen was absolutely amazing, and Takashi (the owner) was so kind and accommodating.
