I found this place by accident after pulling out another booking; the host reached out quickly and offered help. It’s a pleasant spot in East London, the hosts are friendly, the room is tidy, and it’s a solid choice for a short stay with decent metro access from central London. No issues to note.

The bed frame was fine, but the mattress and all its covers had a terrible smell, the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, and there was a sign saying you can’t drink in the room—though I wasn’t talking about alcohol. I needed a place for two nights, and the conditions were awful.

The host was very welcoming and answered questions right away; they kept my luggage after checkout, let me check in early for a small fee, the bathroom was spotless, and I got a kettle when I asked. I could arrive around 10 or 11 pm because the main door key was included with my room key. It’s a bit far from East Ham station, so I had to walk 1.5 km with my luggage, and there were occasional noises when teleworking from the host family.

I booked a room with a private bathroom, as stated in the description. Around 7 PM, I was told to arrive after 10 PM because the room wasn't ready. When I arrived after 10 PM, the room still wasn't ready. It turned out to be a child's room; they moved the child who had been staying there elsewhere so I could take the room. I spent one night there. I do not recommend it—stay away. I lost 350 euros. Dealing with was difficult. I booked a room with a private bathroom, as stated in the description. Nothing— the host was hostile and terrible. It felt very unsafe to stay there and I had to find another accommodation.
