I was happy with the location—just a short walk from the bus station and Marks and Spencers Food. The T7 bus departs from the bus station, except early morning at 8.30am and again at 17.00pm and 18.00pm when it starts from Magor Queens Gardens, and it takes you straight to Bristol. The kitchen was tidy and came with a washing machine and dryer. My double bed was cozy, thanks to the soft mattress. The staff at the Fish and Chip shop helped me carry my case up and down the stairs. When I called the owner, he sounded friendly but insisted on sticking to the house rules. The Wi‑Fi worked fine. On the downside, the room was spacious but the furniture felt very basic for the price. I couldn’t figure out how to access British TV, and no one was around to help. The sign says “B and B”, but there was no breakfast, something I only realized after I arrived.

The bed was comfortable and the hospitality tray was a nice touch. As a solo woman, I wanted a lock I could rely on—combination locks felt insecure if others might know the code. I thought I’d booked a B&B, but it turned out to be just a bed and parking. The payment options for the nearby car park were a bit confusing and could have been explained better ahead of time.

Getting in was a breeze, the place was spotless, and the location was great. Communication was clear. The only minor annoyance was that the sink overhung the toilet area.
