The host cooked breakfast herself—home‑baked pastries, hot sandwiches, freshly made cappuccino. It was delicious and homely. The place was spotless, no complaints. It’s not in the city, the street isn’t exactly quiet, but the sea is close.

The welcome was great, and the breakfast in the morning was also nice; the people were very friendly.

The price was among the lowest for a room in Pescaro. The shower and toilet were clean, and the bed linen was fresh. The air conditioner worked well. But one incident spoiled the overall rating. The hotel’s policy says guests must leave by 11:00, yet at 10:30 the host climbed over the balcony railing, opened the balcony door, and peeked into my room without knocking, forcing me to rush out of the shower just five minutes before. I could have been completely naked. I find that behavior unacceptable and a total disrespect of privacy. If the goal was to show who is in charge and who should leave quickly, you succeeded, but I will never use this hotel again. Other issues: the soap dispenser was nearly empty, there was no shampoo in the shower, and breakfast was the most modest I’ve ever had—just one fried egg with toast, two slices of cake from the fridge, and a cup of cappuccino. Given the price, I wouldn’t have minded, but the balcony intrusion made it intolerable. If you’re choosing this hotel for the price, don’t pay extra for a room with a separate shower and toilet, because those rooms have one large shared balcony with a small divider, adjacent to a shared shower balcony for three other rooms, and when you get your own toilet you lose your own balcony, which cheaper rooms have. The funniest part is that the window in your toilet doesn’t face your balcony at all but the common one, so sitting on the toilet with the window open you can easily see a neighbor (photo attached). Also, close the balcony door so no one can enter your room through it.

The reception, the room, the location, the breakfast lovingly prepared by the hostess, and her very kind nature were all appreciated.
