The location and availability were good. I would have liked a complimentary bottle of water.

I love how close the place is to everything: just a 10‑minute walk to the station, 15 minutes to the Travelmar docks at Piazza Concordia, a 2‑minute stroll to the waterfront, and 10 minutes to the bustling Duomo district with its restaurants. Two self‑service 24‑hour kiosks are nearby for a 50‑cent bottle of water, and right below the building is a decent bakery that also sells sandwiches. Room 1 is just right for two people – it’s spacious enough, bright, and clean, with a view of the pedestrian street. What really let me down was the lack of basic in‑room amenities: a couple of water bottles, a kettle, and a few tea bags and instant coffee would have been a simple fix that costs the host very little. The welcome kit in the bathroom was also missing. When I called the host on Sunday to report that the toilet seat had come loose, I was told that the handyman wouldn’t be available on a public holiday and that they couldn’t help. I ended up fixing it myself, which the host could have done if they’d bothered to check. I wrote again on Monday morning that I’d managed it, but received no reply. The cleaning crew didn’t even come on Sunday, so I had to fetch toilet paper from the service room myself – no apology was offered. On Tuesday afternoon, after arriving on Saturday at 14:00, I expected fresh towels, but after 72 hours of stay (the last three days before the early‑check‑out fee of €5 per person, a practice I’ve never seen elsewhere) they were still unchanged. When I mentioned it, the response was “Hello, it will be done tomorrow,” even though we were leaving the next morning and would have been there for four days. I reminded them a third time about the check‑out timing, but again no remedy or response. Nothing was catastrophic, but when you demand such precision from your guests with strict rules, you need to be flawless yourself. A quick apology via WhatsApp would have changed the whole perception.

The accommodation sits right in the city centre, just a short walk from the main train station, and all the major shops and supermarkets are only 1–2 minutes away on foot. The room was very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always available to answer any question and gladly offering assistance. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this place again. Absolutely recommended! 😊

The location was very good. The bathroom smelled like urine, and getting in was VERY difficult because the website wasn’t working – terrible service.

The place is in a good spot, but the closet is too high.
