The staff were very kind and available, but the wardrobe was almost non-existent, the door to the room was dated and I think from the 60s, and it was too hard to open.

The location, services and price are solid, but the shower needs fixing because it splashes everywhere without a proper shower tray.

The whole place was freshly renovated, the rooms look great, the restaurant is nice and the staff are all friendly and smiling; keep up the good work. Knowing how it used to be, I’d say it now meets all the expectations for a hotel of this star level.

Breakfast offers a choice between continental and sweet Italian options; the continental spread is fine but a bit limited, yet the price is so low that there’s no complaint. The service is very pleasant and the free parking is a rare find these days.

The hotel sits close to the cruise port and the staff arranged a quick, efficient transfer to the port the next morning. Dining inside was convenient and the food excellent; we ate there after a long travel day and again for breakfast. It’s one of the few hotels with air conditioning, which we appreciated, and the elevator was also a plus. The décor felt a bit dated, but the place was clean.
