Ideal for the Sitges Film Festival, you can grab a bite before the first session (they adjusted their schedule) and it’s perfectly located among all the village cinemas. It met my needs exactly; the rooms are very basic, but that’s what I want. I would improve the room lighting, as it was a bit hard to write with.

Signes offered the best value for a solo trip; I flew in for a holiday business trip and stayed two nights, walked three minutes to the beach, and a lane away was the town’s liveliest street. Though overall a bit old-fashioned, the room had all the necessary amenities and was large enough to open a 29‑inch suitcase. The front‑desk staff were very enthusiastic, and the breakfast included with the booking was pretty good.

The room, the rest, the breakfast, the location… everything was wonderful, but the staff is undoubtedly the best part of the hotel, with their professionalism and friendliness.
