“Tiny windowless dungeon-like room (only tiny skylight in roof) spoiled our stay in lovely Troia”
Central location. We paid for a room with a balcony but received a room with no window, only a tiny skylight—felt like sleeping in a dungeon. The so‑called quadruple room was tiny for two, let alone four. When we complained to the owner, he insisted three times that it was impossible we had booked a balcony room, basically suggesting I was lying. Clearly there’s a problem with his listing: “balcony” was ticked for two different rooms, only one of which actually has a balcony. Breakfast was very disappointing. The flimsy walls meant we could hear everything our neighbors said, the fittings were cheap and generic, the stair rail wobbled, and the décor was characterless and gray.
