Remote and dreamlike for peace and relaxation, the pine forest right behind the accommodation is beautifully restored with a tasteful, detail‑rich aesthetic and historic charm; the lodging itself is clean, comfortable, and cozy, with a breakfast room featuring a fireplace and a set table that feels very inviting. The stay was too short.

We found a gem in the Guesthouse Vergissmeinnicht—beautifully located and lovingly decorated, the very friendly hosts treated us like royalty, fulfilled all our wishes, and gave us detailed tips about local options, with service quality almost unbeatable. We have nothing to criticize.

If you love historic accommodations with love for detail and antiques, this is the spot. The holiday apartments in Guteborn are idyllic and tucked away between a beech forest and a castle pond, with a large, beautifully laid out garden perfect for sitting. The couple Hermann, who renovated and now runs the place with great enthusiasm and taste, are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was lovingly served at individual tables, and there’s a well‑equipped kitchen available to all guests, where you can also buy drinks. The café was closed that weekend when we were there. We’ll definitely come back and try the cake. The downside is there’s no restaurant or shop in the village, so you should definitely drive in.

The outdoor area is wonderfully designed; the guest rooms are cozy, thoughtfully furnished, and exceptionally clean; breakfast is tasty and plentiful, and the café’s atmosphere is unique. The idyllic location offers forest bathing just behind the house, the host is very friendly, and it’s a place to relax. Cycling takes about forty‑five minutes to the lively beach at Senftenberger See, and there are many other beautiful bike routes nearby. Nothing to mention that we can’t.
