The spot is right in the city centre, so everything’s close and the narrow lanes keep the noise down; the room feels old‑fashioned, and breakfast comes with plenty of tasty options – highly recommend it. The shower’s a bit tricky, spraying water everywhere, and there’s no lift, so you’ve got to climb stairs, which could be a hassle if you’re lugging suitcases (I only had a backpack, so it wasn’t a problem for me).

The place sits in a prime spot overlooking the castle, and the room is spacious with a well‑equipped bathroom, comfortable beds, friendly reception, and decent breakfast. The stairs might pose a challenge for guests with mobility issues.

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff at Restaurant Mastal were pleasant; the location is also lovely. During my stay nobody came to empty the trash cans, the windows were awkward to close and you had to vent in the hallway, and the stairs to the apartment were narrow and a bit slippery.

The accommodation’s superb location makes you feel transported back in time; it’s very spacious and fully equipped, and we felt very comfortable. Breakfast offered a good variety of products, and I would definitely recommend it.
