A beautiful hotel housed in an old castle in Toledo’s heart. Most rooms are spacious, some a bit smaller but acceptable. In the city there are no parking spots, so you have to use distant, now paid, public lots and reach the hotel via several escalators. The breakfast is tidy, the staff are helpful, and several restaurants are nearby.

Everything was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Room 25 had no window—a detail we were not told until we entered, which would have helped us decide whether to keep the reservation.
