Despite the hotel's decline in popularity due to the economic struggles of New Caledonia, the location remains stunning, and the staff is still warm and welcoming. I would like to extend a special thank you to Thomas, the manager, who went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Our group of volunteers was there to raise awareness about cancer and its treatments, and the hotel provided us with a comfortable base to work from. The rooms were spacious and had extremely comfortable beds.

The hotel's location was breathtakingly beautiful, with a stunning landscape. Our room was also fantastic, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. However, the breakfast was a bit rustic, and the hotel's claims of bike rentals were not entirely accurate. On Sundays, the restaurant only offered a limited menu, with salad or steak and fries being the only options.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to the exceptional staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Although there was a slight language barrier with the wait staff, the receptionists were fluent in English and helped us arrange some amazing local dishes, including coconut crab and bougna. The chef was incredibly accommodating and even prepared the crab for us in-house.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The location is absolutely unique, with a beautiful beach and paradise-like views. The staff, particularly the Japanese receptionist, were very engaging and a highlight of my stay. However, the hotel is in a terrible state, requiring significant investment and likely a new owner, which is likely a result of years of neglect and the impact of COVID and the 2024 unrest.
