The location was very good, the staff amazing, and everything else was flawless—very cosy.

Endroit sympa en bord de plage. Camping agréable et le personnel a été très accueillant et serviable

A great place—nothing tops it, even better than the Ritz.

The beach was awful, there were no facilities, and the only place to eat was a 500‑meter walk away.

The property is a narrow 5‑meter strip of land a little off the road to the beach, built up with a 1.2‑meter‑wide path and a few plain, unattractive huts. There is no shady spot where you can sit comfortably; all the benches are hard and the old wooden chairs leave colorful splashes on clothes. The young staff member does a great job, is very friendly and helpful, and deserves a good rating. I’m shocked by the exorbitant prices; elsewhere on Siquilar, on the white beach, we found much nicer accommodations for less than half the cost with noticeably better comfort. The owner seems to be the problem. It feels like she’s only after maximum profit and hasn’t invested in the property for years, which is disgusting! I wouldn’t complain if I could stay there for $5. The stay was very expensive, and the luxury room is almost more shabby than the tiny huts. I’m a 62‑year‑old traveler with years of experience as a backpacker in South and Central America, North Africa, Turkey, all of Europe, over a year in India, and this is my second time in the Philippines. I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so this time.
