The staff were friendly, but the surrounding area left something to be desired.

The price was low, and for that cost a private room with a TV, fridge, and bathroom is a bargain. The elevator and the pervasive scent in the building (maybe air freshener?) didn't suit me, and I didn't feel like using it again. The neighborhood is lined with adult entertainment venues that keep calling out, and after leaving the hotel in the morning the area was littered with cigarette butts and drink bottles, so I wouldn't pick this area if I were traveling with family.

The location is convenient, walking to several points of interest. If you can't tolerate nighttime noise, this is a very lively area after dark.

Breakfast offered a good mix of Japanese and Western items, which was satisfying. The spot is close to the busy district and a great place to raise a glass.
