The Sunbeam hotel is situated near Agios Nikolaos Lake and 400 metres from beaches. Modern, refurbished rooms with free Wi-Fi, refrigerators, TVs, and air conditioning are offered. Posizione eccellente, pulizia giornaliera con cambio completo della biancheria, ma la doccia è piccola, con due pezzi di cabina chiusi da una tendina che si attacca al corpo; peccato perché è l’unico difetto.

L'emplacement au-dessus du lac est bien, calme à cette période, mais le soir Agios devient vivant; un parking à 6€ la journée est appréciable jusqu’au lendemain 11h, toutefois l’accueil est très simple, ni plus ni moins.

In der Nähe waren leider immer wieder keine Parkplätze frei, was in Agios Nikolaos zu einem großen Problem wurde; bei zukünftigen Besuchen werde ich deshalb die Stadt meiden.

Le personnel est très agréable et à l’écoute, la chambre est très bien équipée et très propre, l’emplacement est central et proche de tout, rien à redire.

A family‑run vibe, just a short uphill stroll from the lake, and the town still feels like a place where locals live and work, not yet overrun by tourists. Our room was clean, had a fridge, and was only a bit noisy from the street, which was fine. It’s a basic hotel, but that’s exactly what we wanted and the price was great value. We skipped the continental breakfast, but cafés are a quick walk away.
