The price was very low, which was perfect for my needs as I was breaking a trip from Romagna to Savoy; the room was large, cool, and the hilltop view was nice. The exterior looked run‑down and abandoned, and the room wasn’t very clean—there were a few spiders in the shower—so it’s a place for those who can adapt and want to save money.

The slightly dated property was set in the woods, with rooms having a minimalist, cabin‑style décor and bunk beds; the in‑room bathroom was very clean, service was quick and friendly, and I found everything as described on the site. It’s a very basic accommodation, surrounded by greenery and very quiet, lacking luxury amenities like a TV or modern furnishings, but the staff were very helpful and the value for money was excellent. Breakfast had a decent selection; the bread and butter weren’t displayed, but they were provided promptly, as was soy milk. The only drawback was that the shower wasn’t fully enclosed. For those walking, Casa Govean is reached by climbing a forest path with a few turns; by car it’s very convenient, with a large parking area.
