The grounds are beautiful, the room was definitely dated. The bathroom was lovely and well stocked. Most staff were very nice. From the photos it seems you’ll stay in a beautiful manor‑style building, but your rooms are down a hill and around the back. The room was dated and old, the carpet even rolled up in places. We had a beautiful view of the garbage bins. We chose this hotel because of the photos and the amazing deal we got through Booking. The check‑in staff obviously knew that and either assigned us the crappiest room because of it, or just treated us differently due to how much we paid. We go to London twice a year for doctor appointments, and probably wouldn’t book this again.
