The hotel’s location, onsen, sauna, friendly and helpful staff, and free night ramen were all highlights.

Just wow! Everything was spotless and brand new. We loved the complimentary ice cream and evening ramen. The hotel truly captured an authentic Japanese vibe, making the stay feel like genuine cultural immersion—especially enjoyable. Walking barefoot around the property was a unique pleasure. The onsen was very pleasant and the best we found on our trip. Asakusa, where the hotel sits, is absolutely superb—very pleasant and peaceful. Even though the room was ready, you won’t get the keys before official check‑in time, which was frustratingly inflexible. The staff didn’t speak English, and the breakfast might feel a bit unfamiliar to European guests on a daily basis; we tried it once and were glad we didn’t book it for the whole stay.

The location is the best in Asakusa—just a 3‑minute walk from everywhere and next to the train station. The cleanliness, staff, and service are wonderful. The room felt a bit cramped for five people.

Tokyo is a lot of walking, so having an onsen helped us recover from fatigue, and while staying at the inn we felt relaxed in an environment that wasn’t like Tokyo. The inn isn’t huge (in a good way), so breakfast was fairly smooth, and I’d definitely stay there again when I visit Tokyo next time.
