Sugar Marina Hotel - ART - Karon Beach

The hotel’s central location and proximity to the beach are very good. Cleaning was done every day, fresh towels were provided, and we were satisfied with that. However, they did not charge us the last two nights’ fee immediately after our insistence because we were very upset. On the second day, because there was work next to the room, we had to wake up early every morning. Finally, we left the room after a bad smell of gasoline. Also the tap water tasted as if sea water was coming from the tap, but when we moved to a room in the other building, the taste of that water was the same as normal tap water. I don’t think I would stay again.

The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a wide range of nutritious options. The hotel sits in a convenient spot, just a short walk from the beach and all nearby conveniences. The staff, including room service, were attentive and meticulous. The pool, however, could have used a bit more upkeep; it was starting to look a bit green. Aside from that, I’d recommend it to others and plan to return.

Breakfast was good, and the swimming pool was nice. The only downside was that the room was noisy every day, especially during the low season.
