Swati was a fantastic host—accommodating, friendly, and very welcoming. The place was spotless, tidy, colorful, and comfortable, and I felt nostalgic for a simpler era. The kitchen had a full‑size fridge, and I could stay close to a hospice, park, and restaurants while visiting a friend. I’d definitely come back.

“Off the Beaten Path”

The kitchen was well equipped, complete with a real fridge and freezer; everything looked clean, the bed was comfy, the main room was roomy, and the TV worked well. I could have logged into my own YouTube or Prime accounts, but I chose not to for security. The trash cans were good, and the old‑school charging stations were effective. Wi‑Fi was fine. Even though it’s on a major road, it stayed quiet and didn’t attract wanderers or random foot traffic, so I felt safe as a solo senior female traveler. I’m grateful for a physical key option, and the communication and follow‑up were professional and welcoming. Outside, it was unappealing and looked like a lower‑class motel when we parked. The fan only had one speed, which I wanted higher. The A/C was set to the lowest temperature but never got cool enough, making sleep hard. The shower felt a bit claustrophobic. The door code worked at arrival but not afterward, and the key ring needed replacing because it kept opening and the keys fell off. A baby roach crossed the microwave plate, and I made sure nothing spilled and kept everything covered while heating. A dish drying rack or pad would be a nice, inexpensive addition. I would feel more comfortable paying the price if the exterior had a facelift—something more rustic and quaint rather than outdated and run‑down.

I found the place super handy, and the staff was friendly and quick to help even when we arrived late. Nothing else to mention.

Getting to the Gulf coast beach communities, Safety Harbor restaurants, Phillipe Park, and visiting family was a breeze. Everything was perfect!
