The beds were awful; mine even had a leg detached, which we had to temporarily re‑screw with nuts. Mold was present in corners of the room and bathroom, and the exhaust fan had a dangling cable. The pillows were clumped together and smelled terribly musty. There was no Wi‑Fi. The driveway is dangerous; you could easily damage your car’s floor.

The staff were truly helpful and tried to accommodate all my requests. The property is clean and clearly new. The room is a bit cramped, with small windows positioned high up.

The place had private parking, which we needed, and a good location if you want to visit Pompeii and Vesuvius. The air conditioning and small fridge work perfectly, and the beds and pillows are quite comfortable. It’s a clean, cozy spot to visit the Naples area without getting caught up in city chaos. The rooms and studios are in the basement of a building with little light and ventilation, though the air conditioning compensates well. There’s no coffee machine or breakfast included. It’s in a residential area in a town far from everything except Pompeii and Vesuvius, which is fine if you plan to stay overnight to visit them the next day. Two days before, they asked what time we would arrive, but since I didn’t know exactly, I told them we’d let them know when we were 30 minutes away. Still, when we arrived we had to wait half an hour for the owner, which would have been fine if it weren’t that the street temperature was 44° during a heatwave. But overall, nothing serious.

Before we arrived, the owner promised to try to hand us the keys early because we would be there around 10:00. Once we got there, we never heard from anyone. When I texted her to let her know we were waiting under the scorching sun, she replied curtly, telling us to wait until at least 11:30. We passed the time by walking around and came back around 12:30. Just then we got a message that the apartment was no longer available. Imagine the hassle of being in the middle of summer without accommodation and having to scramble for another place at the last minute, paying a much higher price than a booking made about 20 days in advance. She even charged us the booking penalty and seemed indifferent to the trouble she caused.
