“It was great !!”
The free breakfast was amazing, the spot was spot‑on—right in the middle of everything but not too loud or busy on the street. The host was super friendly and always there for us, even letting us do laundry for a small fee, which was great. We also got a free upgrade to a massive room, which was fantastic. The air‑con worked really well and the terrace view was beautiful. The only downside was that the bed only had a doona, no sheet.

The place looks gorgeous, full of vintage and antique items. Omar handled everything and was very helpful, except he didn’t reply to messages on Booking or WhatsApp before we arrived. He’s also a superb chef and cooks really well. The bathroom always smelled like a sewer; Omar fixed the shower and put up a glass so the whole bathroom doesn’t get wet.

This Dar was incredibly cozy and felt like home, right in the heart of the town, with a terrace that offered a panoramic view of everything. Even from the room, it was completely silent. Omar was an excellent host—he met us at the airport in the middle of the night, welcomed us with a delicious tea, and gave clear directions. He lovingly prepared the typical breakfasts, which were included in the price. Honestly, the quality was superb for the very low cost. I’d recommend it 100%.
The reception and cleanliness were excellent, and there was nothing to complain about.

The location is great. The house is full of antiques and feels like stepping back in time. The rooftop patio offers a fantastic view and is a nice spot to unwind. The host is very accommodating, helpful and friendly. It was an honour and privilege to stay here. The hot water wasn’t that hot, but that’s typical for older buildings.
