Veronica was very welcoming, letting us check in earlier than scheduled, and the room was tidy and clean. However, I had used Maps to find the location and felt lost in the middle of nowhere; there were no nearby grocery stores, and the town’s traffic was chaotic with narrow two‑way streets and no traffic lights. The room had a small fridge, but it was missing a basic feature: a fridge to keep at least a bottle of water so we didn’t have to leave the room to use the communal fridge upstairs, which the description claimed each room had. The bathroom door was a problem—something I didn’t notice from the photos, otherwise I wouldn’t have booked; in such a small space it’s essential, otherwise standing on the toilet or bed made no difference. The shower drain was clogged, so during the first evening shower we had to lay towels on the floor to avoid flooding the room. Veronica offered to bring a fridge the next day, but my partner and I chose to leave after the first night of the 5‑night stay. I didn’t ask for a refund (the booking was already non‑refundable) because I had made the mistake of not reading other reviews or checking the photos more closely. The place is nice, but unfortunately the overall context is forgettable.
