The room was roomy, the bathroom large and comfortable, and the quiet village setting kept the traffic out of sight, yet the breakfast was somewhat standard with long wait times, and while I love dogs, seeing one constantly darting between tables might not appeal to everyone.

The hotel Cecchin sits in a wonderful spot just 15 minutes from the sea, offering a terrace that alone justifies the price, and when you add the excellent food, friendly staff, the generous room 10, and the ability to keep my dog nearby at all times, we couldn’t ask for more; the downside is that the parking isn’t private and the rooms could use better soundproofing if you’re next to a noisy couple, as I was.
