The basic twin room came with a balcony, a small shared kitchen, a shared bathroom, and a separate toilet; the bathroom isn’t always clean because it’s shared, and you have to pick up keys from the hotel Opera Garden, about 10 minutes away, but they also have an excellent, affordable restaurant where I ate twice.

Convenient location, a decent shared bathroom and toilet, air‑conditioning and some other amenities. It was dirty almost everywhere, and a cock even crawled around—something I’ve never seen in all my stays in Bulgaria. It’s inconvenient that the reception is in one place while the accommodation is 10 minutes away.

The location is definitely a plus for this place. It’s close to the main bus station where you can get almost anywhere. The room had air‑conditioning, which was a big convenience. A real downside is that there is no reception on site; you have to walk a kilometre to the reception to pick up the keys, but I don’t think that’s a major problem. Another drawback is the cleanliness. I have no complaints about the rooms, but the bathroom and kitchen are different. I would suggest replacing the fridge because it’s clearly worn out, dirty and doesn’t seal properly. The same goes for the cleanliness of the cabinets, which leaves a lot to be desired. The bathroom is also an issue. It was also a drawback that there was no public broom available. After returning from the beach, the sand was everywhere and there was little chance to clean it up.
