The location is quiet, the castle is very beautiful, the bedding is excellent, the room is large, and the shower is big. The breakfast was too simple, and we had to leave before 9:30 am.

The location is great. The owner is a control freak. Breakfast is served until 10 am, but you must vacate the room by 9:30 am, and then the owner checks the room while you’re having breakfast! There are healthier ways to handle shady guests, and not all guests are shady 🙄

The location, the building, and the absolute quiet are all good, and the host is friendly. The furniture around the pool is in bad shape, there are many “no‑go” notes everywhere, the dinner (only pizza, but tasty) is only served around the pool or in the room.

The place is really far from everything, the castle felt a bit haunted, and the rules were extremely restrictive. We had to park our car outside the facilities, a bit far from the entrance, so we had to lug our luggage up a rough stone path. Check‑out had to be at 9:30 am sharp, and there were no restaurants or even a light meal within 18 km. The castle could only offer pizza if you wanted to eat on site.
