The location was good. The hotel feels old and doesn't justify the price paid.

Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and helpful. The floor cleaning in the room was lacking, the shower drain was slow, and the price‑quality ratio was not great.

The hotel staff were very friendly. One night in Bad Gastein is enough—those so‑called hoteliers still seem to think they're in the high season.
