The only redeeming factor was the location of Kennington Lodge. Everything else was bad: the bedding smelled stale, the bathroom was unkept, there was no proper setup for self‑catering, the staff didn’t respond, and we waited outside the gate in the rain for more than 30 minutes.

We never even stayed; the room was filthy, so we had to check into another BNB. The Kennington was so dirty that the beds weren’t even made, the kitchen was grimy, and I have photos.

It has a huge bed and separate bedrooms, but the bed was too soft and old and the room was too cold.
