The building is amazing—a 200‑year‑old converted coach house full of character! The owners were incredibly welcoming; speaking with Barry was a pleasure, and we know that when we’re ready to explore more of Shropshire, this is the perfect place to stay. No complaints.
“A reasonable place to stay within 10 mins drive of the ironbridge museums”
The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel and the surrounding area were very quiet. The landlord was very friendly and well known in town. I had a Sunday lunch there that was good. Broseley is a few minutes’ drive from the Ironbridge museums without feeling touristy. The hotel couldn’t provide breakfast on either day. The ground floor, especially the reception and saloon bar, looked like they’d seen better days and were not very welcoming.

It was great to meet Barrie and his wife; they made me feel welcome and shared how much they and their son have contributed to the property, and I enjoyed a comfortable stay and a lovely room. I told them I’ll come back.
