The lakeside location and lovely terrace are great. The staff were a bit unfriendly, and the rooms were very basic and not really modern.

The people made the stay enjoyable, and the food was good. We arrived straight from Lago Maggiore, and staying at the hotel by Lake Untersee felt like a nice extension.
