Finding the place was difficult, but it’s perfect for hikers, even with kids. The hosts cared a lot about our comfort, were helpful and caring. They still need some time to make the whole property even more delightful; we wish them success. Overall it was top!

Breakfast was good and completely sufficient. For the price, it was great! The location was very quiet, slept well, and all the stars were visible. The street signage was a bit hard to spot, especially when searching for 'Gästehaus Bergwald'.

It is separated 2 km from the river and the last kilometre is uphill with about 700 m of slopes at 12 %–16 % when cycling with panniers, so if you’re doing bike‑touring with a muscular bike I don’t recommend it.

Beautiful location with trails nearby. The staff was extremely helpful. Nice rooms. Hiked up the main road with a significant incline to the hotel. Once arrived, it was great!!!
