INNO hostel was a fantastic launchpad for my Seoul trip, with plenty of communal events that made meeting people easy, and the sleeping arrangements were very comfortable and private—great if you need to catch up on sleep after a late night. All basic amenities were provided, and the laundry service was reliable and convenient. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

The place felt cozy, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from Hongdae and a 7‑minute ride to L2 subway, yet surrounded by houses that keep it quiet. The mattress was comfortable, and the pods were very handy, each with a mirror, a small shelf box, a light switch near the pillow, and a curtain switch. The décor feels like a microwave interior, which I find oddly peaceful. Shower gel and shampoo were supplied in the shower, and the water pressure was a big bonus after traveling two months through Southeast Asia—it felt luxurious. The only downside was that there were only two toilets for girls, and the sign saying “do not flush toilet paper” caused a clog that left the first floor with only one functioning toilet.

The staff turned out to be very interesting, professionally involved in a musical ensemble, and their rehearsal took place in the hotel, impressing with its quality. I even felt like I’d attended a Korean concert! The owners hosted a barbecue evening that was very hospitable and tasty, and the warmth felt everywhere. Friendly staff, good Wi‑Fi, and water and electricity were all superb. The only complaint: there was just one shower for the entire hotel, which was a bit lacking, and the interior wall finish needs repair (washing and repainting at least).

The privacy was great, but there were only a few toilets, which was a bit inconvenient.

The vibe was pleasant, simple, clean, and the location was perfect, but the showers felt somewhat stale (everything else was fresh and clean) and the breakfast was just sausage on bread.
