The location was great—just a 5‑minute bike ride to Bruges’ historic centre. The beds were okay and everything was clean. The landlord didn’t show up at all. A note that you must insert the blue parking disc and can only park for 4 hours would have been very helpful! We were on the top floor, and the room had only one slanted skylight. The stairs to the staircase and the room were very steep. That’s fine for young people, but for older folks like us (70) with luggage (even without!) it was quite a struggle. The room had no wardrobe, just a slightly wider shelf, and most importantly: no chair or table! Writing or using a laptop meant doing it in bed. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work and the TV programme required a subscription (mostly Pay‑TV).

We had two separate bedrooms in the same place, which was perfect for travelling with adult kids. The shared kitchen was a bonus and felt like it was just ours. There was also a washing machine and dryer. The house sits in a quiet neighbourhood, about a 15‑minute walk from the centre. We used the parking space, 5 € per night, and it was within a reasonable walking distance. It was perfect for us, but older people or those with mobility issues might find the staircase hard to go up, especially with luggage.

Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Schönes Zimmer, alles top. Gute Lage, ca 1 Km vom Stadtzentrum. Ruhige Seitenstraße und doch zentral. Wenn wieder Brügge, dann wieder hier! Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!
