Every thing , great staff, very helpful , amazing location right in the beach , great food quality and choice , lots of sunbeds, very comfy beds , great cleaning . Swimming pools kept very clean. Coatis, agugutis and iguanas roaming free were great to see. Nothing

The place looks great, the beach isn’t too crowded with seaweed, and Humberto attended us excellently. However, some of the waitresses at the buffet entrance were rude, and on several occasions I saw customers complaining about how they were treated.

The location was truly ideal, right in the heart of Playacar and directly on a beautiful beach. The setting was pleasant, green, and relaxing, and the hotel allowed us to enjoy Playa del Carmen fully while staying calm. We spent 13 nights there and overall the stay was very enjoyable. The staff were generally friendly and the location/setting balance was a real strength. Just be aware of the algae that can sometimes appear on the beach, though that obviously isn’t the hotel’s fault. A regrettable incident happened at the Italian restaurant near the lower pool: for just a 10‑minute delay to our reservation, Candido, who was handling the reception, denied us entry even though the restaurant clearly had many seats. What hurt more than the denial itself was the way he behaved: inappropriate, unwelcoming, and even somewhat aggressive. When I asked for his name, he refused and I had to read it myself on his polo. It’s a shame because it was an isolated act during a 13‑night stay, but such an experience sticks more than many good moments. A little more courtesy and a sense of service would have avoided this negative impression.

The food overall was pretty good. The service was terrible: although not everyone was bad, the majority of staff worked reluctantly and with bad attitudes, including the pool chef and bar staff. That widespread attitude ruined the entire experience. The entertainment areas were very neglected; the lobby games were in terrible condition (the foosball was broken and unusable, the billiard cues didn’t work, the hockey table was just decorative, and the screen didn’t function). On top of that, it was impossible to rest because there was a lot of noise from the water pumps starting at 7:00 a.m.
