“Dreadful customer service , awful room , appalling service from booking .com … avoid this place at all costs !”

Nothing …management unable to help with a legitimate complaint of excessive room temperature. Truculent attitude from start to finish , dreadful service . Booked 2 nights. 1st night room was like an oven …complained to staff and said I would be cancelling the next night stay due to the excessive heat , no alternative offer was forthcoming . Complained to about the uninhabitable room , they charged me for the full stay and gave me a £9 credit , pathetic. A hotel room should at least be able to sleep in !

“Lovely staff in amazing pub”

We were greeted warmly upon arrival. The staff and pub were both amazing. We sat and had drinks, then later a meal that we really liked. The staff did everything they could for us. The room is very basic, but for £70 for one night it was acceptable.

The staff were friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were very small. The breakfast area in the hallway in front of the rooms was Spartan, and the floor rugs smelled of cigarettes.

“Just right”

The staff were incredibly friendly, the food tasted great, the bed was comfy, and the room fit our needs perfectly. No complaints.
