The location is perfect for day trips. The train station is reachable on foot, and the connections to Freiburg and other places are very good.

The welcome was wonderful. The owners are friendly and helpful. The room was truly lovely, detailed in every way, and we felt like we were staying at a friend’s house. The harmony and peace in the historic residence, lovingly preserved and cared for, were remarkable.

The special atmosphere in the listed building is experienced throughout the lovingly restored house – and also in the garden when it gets warmer. (Be sure to check out the ancient goods and livestock scales and the well, and read the house’s history: https://www.krone-denzlingen.de/haus/). I also found the conversations with the sympathetic owners very stimulating; they pour so much love and effort into the property. The whole ambience is simply great, especially when you’re tired of the same old chain hotels that lack creativity. The Boutique Hotel Krone in Denzlingen has nothing to lack – I felt “at home away from home” and will gladly come back soon! By the way, you can walk to Denzlingen station or park for free there, and the Basel–Karlsruhe line makes it easy to get anywhere without a car. Everything is top‑class – see above.

The owners were very kind and helpful, and the communication was excellent. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room was cleaned daily, and the towels were changed daily.
