“Almost like living in a luxurious fantasy-world in an exclusive area of Castle Combe”
The property is huge and that spaciousness carries over into the rooms, which feel very luxurious. We ended up in one of the row houses near the exit path, and it was super comfortable with an enormous shower. We couldn’t book dinner reservations on our arrival day; the timing just didn’t line up, so no blame there. I was excited to try the Michelin‑star restaurant. It was funny to see random people snapping photos of the outside area once we checked in, but the parade of selfie‑obsessed tourists grew annoying after a while, lasting until dusk and then picking up again at sunrise. The place is undeniably photogenic, though that can be a bit of a curse.
