The newly renovated rooms, the hotel’s convenient spot on the way back from Italy, friendly hosts, great breakfast, and the evening meal at the local tavern were all very good.

The building has a nice, distinctive character, and the room with its large bathroom looks brand new and is super clean. I enjoyed a meal at the restaurant, which had the warm vibe of a bistro. Parking in the courtyard is very convenient.

The hotel sits just off Marktplatz Kösching, and the room that faces the courtyard is quiet with comfortable beds. Breakfast offers limited choices but is acceptable; a one‑ or two‑night stay works well. The shower is very pleasant and clean. On arrival, the bar area felt a bit unwelcoming, with the typical tavern scent of beer and smoke in the corridor and creaking floorboards, though this didn’t affect the rooms.
