“Pésimas camas y colchones”
I was impressed by how close the place is to the city center, just a few minutes away. But there were many things that bothered us. First, the owners arrived almost an hour late to pick us up from the airport, even though the price and arrival time had been agreed beforehand. They were friendly on the way, though one of them was clearly drunk. We were given a katchapuri as a courtesy for our late-night arrival, but the next day we were charged for it, and it was very expensive. The worst part was the room. The beds were terrible; the metal frame was obvious and it was impossible to stay in any position without pain. I tried to put clothes under the mattress, but it was ultra‑thin and I still felt pain all over my body. I ended up sleeping on the floor that first night. My partner slept in her bed, but it was also uncomfortable and she woke up with aches. I’m sorry about the accommodation, but you can’t have these types of beds, even if the price is low; it’s just not bearable. The walls were also thin, so we could hear everything around us. We were next to the patio. The next day we decided to cancel the second night and leave. We told the owner, who offered to move us to a more comfortable room, but we declined. Still, we paid for the second night to avoid any issues. She accepted, we paid everything (taxi, katchapuri, and two nights) and left. Only today was I able to leave a comment, because earlier the owner told me the stay had been cancelled and the app showed us as no‑shows with a penalty, which wasn’t true. I tried to document what happened, but there was no way to do it until today.
“Molto carino”
The pension is a bit far from Kutaisi’s center. The staff runs a shuttle to and from the airport. The rooms are very small but clean. The price is also very competitive. The beds are really tiny; an adult man can’t fit at all.
“A very bad experience...”
Almost nothing. Nobody was at the reception when we arrived. The room is so small you can’t move inside. The room tries to be heated with an A/C that does not work and is unhealthy at all. The bathroom is not heated at all, so you take a shower in a refrigerator.
The owner is super nice!
“Terrible experience. Terrible hosts, tried to hit me.”
Nothing. It was dirty. The hosts demanded a completely different price after we arrived and we had no idea in advance that the price on booking was not real. They are fraud.
