We found the accommodation very good for us, very centrally located, not far from Erfurt or Weimar. It’s tastefully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. We felt the place was very clean. The only thing I didn’t like was that I’d preferred fruit at breakfast, and yogurt had to be ordered separately.

The staff were kind enough to allow free cancellation after arrival. Pet fees weren’t disclosed in the listing. I didn’t stay there, but the pet fee was 15 Euros per night, which I found excessive. I had booked 2 nights, so 30 Euros was not acceptable. With my own accommodation business in Australia, travelers with pets usually leave the room cleaner than those without. I would have been okay with 15 Euros for the stay, but not per night. The hotel’s location was very boring. Luckily I found a better spot with 0 Euros pet fee for 2 nights in nearby Weimar, a lovely city with great parks, walks, and plenty of history to explore on foot, so that worked out best in the end.

A cozy hotel that’s well decorated. Only downside is that it’s a bit further from the city, but that’s not a big deal.

The restaurant was excellent, parking available in the courtyard, and there was a self‑service option.
