The guesthouse sits in a great spot, just a short drive to both Valtice and Lednice, so you can easily explore the lovely surroundings. The rooms were quiet and the outdoor area by the pool, plus the terrace, was pleasant – even a grill was available. The only downside was that the local tavern at Tomky was closed, which limited dining options, though you can still get food delivered.

The beds were comfy enough for us and the place was reasonably clean, which made the short stay fine; we never even went to the pool. Checking out at 10:30 worked perfectly and we could leave the car parked until the afternoon before heading out on a bike ride. The fan in the room was annoyingly loud, and with temperatures hitting 40 °C it would have been a nightmare without air‑conditioning; a bathroom window would have helped with ventilation too.

The village is incredibly peaceful – evenings and nights are almost silent, which is nice if you like quiet. For us it felt a bit too quiet; there wasn’t much happening and we ended up having to travel elsewhere for activities.

The spot is convenient and the owner was quick to sort out any issues we ran into, which we appreciated. We’d gladly come back.

The rooms were tidy and the heated pool was a nice touch; the small kitchen covered the basics and the shared fridge stocked a selection of wines (though you have to pay for them). Sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine was pleasant. The downside was the lack of air‑conditioning in the room, which made the heat uncomfortable, and there were only four parking spaces right in front, so we had to park about 100 m away.
