We arrived late and had to leave early, so I couldn't try the dinner or the real breakfast. What I did notice were the rooms: they are spacious, clean, and comfortable. What struck me most was how the hosts went above and beyond for us. When I mentioned we would be leaving very early, they offered to pack breakfast for us in a bag and leave it in front of our room. The next morning we woke up to a bag with breakfast and a handwritten note wishing us safe travels. While I'm sure their actual breakfast is even better, we really appreciated the gesture. Everything else was perfect.

Breakfast was appealing, featuring fresh products from the surrounding region. Drinks and hot dishes could be chosen from the menu and were also freshly prepared. The selection could have been a bit larger; I missed a wider range of muesli and the ingredients that could be used with it.

The property is clean and the hosts—Lucas, Albertin, Sarah, and Sita—are warm. The food at the restaurant is delicious.

The reception was very friendly, the room was fine, and the setting in a stunning natural area was lovely with easy parking; the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were tasty. The towels felt a bit stiff, I’d prefer softer ones, and it’s better to drive via Oensingen instead of the mountain pass.
