“Overall it was okay but the place was a little run down and needs some work for sure.”

I liked how close it was to the beach and how nice the staff was. The beds were uncomfortable. The AC unit was finicky and kept powering down. The movies in the office hardly worked, most of the CDs were scratched, and the board games were old and busted. The bathroom shower handle broke and couldn’t control the temperature—only the pressure. The toilet hardly flushed and there was no plunger in the room. The Wi‑Fi speed was basically a piss in the wind.

We loved that the hotel was in the middle of everything, so we could walk to wherever we wanted. The room was really nice and had everything we needed. The owner was very friendly as well. Our upstairs neighbors were noisy, so a room on the second floor would have been better. Also, the shower could have been a little cleaner.

The hotel’s proximity to downtown and nearby amenities was a big plus.

The proximity to amenities and the beach was great. The bed and pillows felt like bricks and were very uncomfortable.

“Older property but lots of charm”

The older property has the quirks that come with age. The décor feels dated but is well cared for. Sound insulation is poor, so a lot of noise comes from the stairs and adjacent rooms. Guests were respectful and kept noise to a minimum. The lack of sound insulation should be mentioned so guests can be courteous.
