I stayed in a quiet, remote spot near Ostrov, and the hostess was great at communicating in German. The room on the second floor had a balcony, 4 beds, and was clean inside, though the wall art was oddly strange. There was no kitchen—just a tiny rack with a kettle, a microwave, and a few dishes tucked into a narrow corridor on the second floor. Online check‑in wasn’t offered; you had to wait until arrival and fill out paper forms with a pen. The plastic chairs on the balcony were broken and looked heavily used.

The staff were pleasant and the location was quiet. I wished there had been a screen on the window to keep insects out, and the plastic cutlery was surprisingly disappointing.
